The attire of the Tang Dynasty stands as a unique and significant cultural symbol in Chinese history,not only displaying remarkable artistic allure and historical value but also profoundly reflecting the social customs and aesthetic tastes of the era.This paper aims to explore the aesthetic characteristics of aristocratic women's attire from the Tang Dynasty and the social trends it embodies.Through meticulous literature review and image analysis,with a focus on the work Zanhua Shinv Tu by Tang Dynasty painter Zhou Fang,the study examines the stylistic techniques and detailed treatment of the attire in the painting,revealing how Tang Dynasty costume art intricately mirrors the societal values and aesthetic inclinations of the time.The research finds that the design of Tang Dynasty aristocratic women's attire,while pursuing luxurious styles and selected fabrics,also demonstrates exceptional aesthetic achievement in color coordination and pattern design.This design not only reflects the diversity and sophistication of Tang Dynasty women's clothing but also deeply reveals the era's unique perception and pursuit of female beauty.The attire of the Tang Dynasty,renowned for its inclusive and resplendent aesthetic style,not only highlights the openness and tolerance of Tang society but also provides a valuable perspective and insight into understanding and appreciating ancient costume art.Thus,Tang Dynasty attire possesses not only great artistic charm but also rich historical and cultural significance.
