Abstract
This study aims to explore the categories,aesthetic implications,and innovative design of Song brocade patterns.Influenced by historical and cultural contexts across various periods,Song brocade has evolved into a rich repository of diverse patterns with profound cultural significance.The study analyzes the historical and cultural background of Song brocade,its pattern categories,and color applications,investigating its role in both traditional and modern design as well as its cultural value.It proposes methods such as distillation,modification,fragmentation and reconstruction,and color transformation to achieve continuity in innovation,ensuring that Song brocade continues to shine brightly on the global cultural stage.
