Study on Modification and Application of Waste Collagen
Waste collagen is a kind of rich biological resources,which can be transformed into products with high added value by modification.This paper reviews the modification methods of waste collagen in recent years,including crosslinking,degradation,oxidation and graft copolymerization,and discusses the application of modified collagen in water treatment,environmental remediation,textile and construction.The purpose of modification is to improve the stability,mechanical properties and functional properties of collagen to meet the needs of different applications.Through the modification of waste collagen,it can realize the effective utilization of this biological resource and promote sustainable development.
