AIGC technology provides new pathways and momentum for the reform of fashion illustration courses. This paper explores the value of AIGC technology in transforming fashion illustration education, analyzing current challenges such as inadequate ability to depict fabric textures,an imbalance between digital design and hand-drawn representation skills, difficulties in observational expression, and a singular evaluation approach that stifles learning and innovation. To address these issues, the study proposes reform strategies that integrate fabric innovation, digital empowerment, situational teaching, and process-oriented evaluation to enhance students'comprehensive skills in fashion illustration.
