This article primarily investigates the experimental process related to the cheongsam with waist darts in 3D tailored garments,focusing on the X-shaped silhouette.Utilizing the CLO 3D fashion design software,various tasks such as pattern making,sewing,simulation,rendering,and printing are accomplished,exploring the transition from traditional live model fittings to the use of software technology for three-dimensional garment displays.The study concludes that employing the CLO 3D platform for cheongsam design yields a remarkably realistic and intuitive effect.Thus,the innovative application of CLO 3D digital virtual technology in traditional attire can be promoted,establishing a wearing model for the cheongsam based on conventional garment structure theories through CLO 3D software.
