Based on the research on the aesthetic characteristics of Yinshan rock painting art and the traditional ethnic clothing handicraft of Inner Mongolia,the paper combined the two in modern clothing design,in order to explore the application of"wool felt craft"in clothing design.In the design practice,the research skillfully integrates the physical characteristics of traditional wool and felting modeling techniques into modern clothing design,so that the clothing can highlight the unique artistic and cultural atmosphere,and at the same time make the clothing design works more personalized,so as to meet the current diversified market trends and the unique needs of consumers.
