The patterns of the Yi ethnic group serve as significant symbols in the cultural heritage of the Chinese nation,innovatively transmitting ethnic imagery through graphical representation.This article utilizes CiteSpace software to examine 208 relevant papers from CNKI(China National Knowledge Infrastructure)published between 2006 and 2024.By employing keyword clustering and analyzing the publication output of key authors,it assesses the current state of research on this prominent topic in China and discusses potential future trends in the study of Yi patterns.The findings reveal that recent hotspots in the literature include keywords such as"costume patterns","Yi lacquerware",and"innovative design".Analysis of annual publication volumes indicates a gradual increase from 2006 to 2009,followed by a period of comprehensive development from 2018 to 2023.Furthermore,the distribution of research institutions appears scattered,with limited formation of collaborative author groups.The article presents a network analysis map of keywords through clustering,temporal graphs,and keyword emergence,providing insights into the current state and emerging trends in research related to Yi patterns.
