Based on the purpose of making traditional skills accepted and loved by the audience through popular comprehensive performance forms and promoting the inheritance and development of acrobatic dramas,this paper takes the acrobatic drama Yingxiong Hudan as an example and analyzes the historical evolution and modern development trend of costume design of acrobatic dramas through case analysis.And further explore the modern and contemporary acrobatic costume design in the material,color,style selection and functional aspects of the innovative application,so that the audience better understand the development direction of modern and contemporary acrobatic drama and Chinese traditional skills.
