摘要
文章基于中华传统文化视角下传统服饰英语翻译策略研究,旨在准确地将中华传统服饰文化翻译成英文,以彰显中华传统文化鲜亮底色.首先阐述了中华传统服饰的文化内涵,在此基础上,从历史文化、价值观念、语言习惯三个方面分析了中华传统服饰文字语言英语翻译影响因素.接着提出音译、意译、增译、减译、图文并茂五个中华传统服饰英语翻译策略,以期消除中西方之间文化误解,从而促进中华传统文化的传播.
Abstract
This study explores the English translation strategies for traditional attire from the standpoint of Chinese cultural heritage,aiming to accurately render the essence of traditional Chinese attire culture into English,thereby highlighting the vibrant characteristics of Chinese tradition.It elucidates the cultural connotations of traditional Chinese attire,and on this foundation,analyzes the influencing factors of English translation from three dimensions:historical culture,value concepts,and linguistic habits.Subsequently,it proposes five strategies for translating traditional Chinese attire into English,including transliteration,semantic translation,amplification,reduction,and integration of text and imagery,in order to eliminate cultural misunderstandings between the East and the West,thus facilitating the dissemination of Chinese traditional culture.
