Aiming to enhance the functionality of footwear products and meet diverse consumer demands,this study explores the comprehensive impact of functional new materials on footwear design by analyzing their applications in comfort,durability,safety,aesthetics,and environmental sustainability.The study finds that the use of functional new materials significantly improves the comfort and health benefits of footwear,enhances durability and safety,and introduces more aesthetic and personalized elements into footwear design.Moreover,the incorporation of bio-based and recycled materials promotes the sustainable development of footwear products,aligning with modern consumer expectations for environmental responsibility.The findings indicate that the application of functional new materials positively influences footwear design and market competitiveness,providing valuable insights into the future development of footwear products.
