This paper aims to explore the design aesthetic features of Miao bird totem in Danzhai area and its application in modern clothing design.Mainly through literature review and case study,this paper analyzes the historical origin,symbolic significance and application of the Miao bird totem in Danzhai in contemporary fashion design.The research results show that the Miao bird totem of Danzhai not only carries rich cultural connotation,but also shows its unique aesthetic value and application potential in modern design.
