Weining is the largest Yi ethnic settlement area in Guizhou Province,and clothing culture is an important part of Yi culture.Due to the geographical environment,production and living habits,and the particularity of the natural environment,the clothing styles of the Yi people in Weining are diverse and varied.The study analyzes the styles and pattern designs of the Yi clothing in Weining,and discusses the influence of totem worship and design element symbols on the clothing,as well as the inheritance strategies of the Yi clothing culture in Weining.
