Study on Hydro-Wind-Photovoltaic-Pumped Storage Hybrid Electrical Power Generating System in Qinghai at the Upper Reaches of Yellow River
With the acceleration of the implementation of the"Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality"goals and the implementation of the ecological protection and high-quality development plan for the Yellow River Basin, the construction of the hydro-wind-photovolta-ic integration base and multi-energy complementary power generation system will be coordinated to improve cross-provincial and cross-regional power grids'capacity for peak support and mutual relief of surplus and deficiency. The paper analyzes the hydro-wind-photo-voltaic resources and multi-energy complementary achievements of Qinghai Province by using the induction and sorting method. The re-sults show that hydropower in southern Qinghai, solar energy in the north and wind energy resources in the west have great potential, but the exploitable potential of various new energy resources decreases with the expansion of development scale. The planned wind and PV capacity ratio in Qinghai Province is0.6 ∶ 0.4,hydropower and wind-PV capacity ratio will be 1 ∶ 1.2 and 1 ∶ 1.25 under the scenario of 2025 and 2035,respectively.In addition, connecting less wind power and more photovoltaic power as far as possible to the power grid system and ensuring the power abandonment rate within 5%has a positive feedback effect on the power grid's stable opera-tion and the investment cost.
