为研究3DEXPERIENCE和FLAC3D两款在不同领域作为设计工具的软件如何有效协同工作的问题,基于3dxml文件特征及网格模型生成技术,提出一种从几何模型至网格模型的转换方法.该方法包括对文件格式解析和数据结构进行映射,以保证 3DEXPERIENCE平台模型中的几何形状和属性能够被正确存储;利用网格生成技术,生成了满足FLAC3D仿真要求的网格模型,并编写自定义程序来完成转换功能.在实际应用中,分别以某水利工程大坝和大体积洞库为例,成功将3DEXPERIENCE平台的几何模型转换成FLAC3D的网格模型.结果表明:该转换方法实现解析CAD几何模型、数据结构映射、生成四面体网格模型和文件保存等功能,完成 3DEXPERIENCE平台至FLAC3D模型的转换任务,从而简化水利工程设计及科学研究工作流程;与3DEXPERIENCE自有网格剖分程序相比,使用自编程序转换,可以在局部区域进行网格加密,使节点和单元数量增加了近5 倍,更适合数值模拟计算.研究成果对CAD/CAE工具的协同工作以及提升水利工程设计工作效率具有重要的实用价值.
Study on 3DEXPERIENCE Platform to FLAC3D Model Conversion based on 3dxml Format
In order to study how 3DEXPERIENCE and FLAC3D work together effectively as design tools in different fields,a conversion method from geometric model to mesh model is proposed based on 3dxml file features and mesh model generation technology.The method includes file for-mat parsing and data structure mapping to ensure that the geometric shapes and attributes in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform model can be correctly stored;using mesh generation technology,a mesh model that meets the FLAC3D simulation requirements is generated,and a custom program is written to complete the conversion function.In practical applications,taking a water conservancy project dam and a large-volume cavern as exam-ple,the geometric model of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform is successfully converted into a mesh model of FLAC3D.The results show that the con-version method can realize the functions of parsing CAD geometric models,data structure mapping,generating tetrahedral mesh models and saving files,and complete the conversion from 3DEXPERIENCE platform to FLAC3D model,thereby simplifying the workflow of water conservancy project design and scientific research;compared with 3DEXPERIENCE's mesh generation program,the conversion using the self-compiled program can perform mesh encryption in local areas,increasing the number of nodes and units by nearly 5 times,which is more suitable for numerical simula-tion calculations.The study results have important practical value for the collaborative work of CAD/CAE tools and improving the efficiency of wa-ter conservancy project design.
