TRT6000+Geological Radar Advanced Geological Prediction for Shallow Tunnels with Small Clearance
In order to solve the potential safety hazards such as water seepage and landslides that occur during the excavation of shallow tunnels with small clearance under complex geological conditions such as poor rock hardness,developed groundwater,and uneven weathering,the appli-cation effect of using TRT6000 plus geological radar equipment to conduct comprehensive advanced detection of engineering geology and hydrogeol-ogy in front of the work face before excavation is studied,providing a reliable prediction and detection method for the safe and smooth excavation of shallow tunnels with small clearance.The results show that based on the TRT6000 detection image combined with the on-site geological condi-tions and the designed longitudinal section,it is inferred that there is a broken zone with poor stability in front,and there are point-to-line water discharge in some areas.In the geological anomaly section detected by TRT6000,the geological radar equipment is applied to further determine the integrity and water-rich situation of the surrounding rock in front of the work face.The comparison result shows that the prediction is basically consistent with the geological conditions revealed by the actual excavation,indicating that this method is feasible;a comprehensive geological pre-diction workflow based on two geophysical prediction methods,TRT6000 long-distance prediction and geological radar short-distance prediction,is proposed to accurately detect the geological conditions in front of the work face of a shallow tunnel with a small clearance;by accurately detecting the faults,dense joint zones,weak interlayers and groundwater in front of the work face,the probability and degree of geological disasters during excavation can be effectively reduced,providing a basis for selecting appropriate excavation technology,adjusting lining types,improving safety measures and improving project design,with good application prospects and economic benefits.
