Response and trade-offs analysis of ecosystem serviceson land use change flow-A case study in Weinan City
Based on GIS and RS,this paper calculated the ecosystem services value of carbon sequestration, water conservation, and soil erosion.Take the mainly transfer of land use flow that accounted for 94.15% to the Weinan City from 2000 to 2010,the ecosystem service response and quantitative relation to land use change flow is studied.the result as the followings:the key land use transfer flow in Weinan City are farmland to forest land flow, grass land to farmland flow and grassland to built-up land flow,of which accounted for 50.83% to the total land use change flows during 2000-2010.Grassland to forest land flow, farmland to grassland flow, and built-up land to farmland were secondary key land use change flows,of which accounted for 25.45% to the total. The rest types of land use change flow were belong to general transfer flow.In the transfer flow that the sensitivity of ecosystem services is higher to the land use change, the flows include water transfer to grassland, water transfer to built-up land, and built-up to forest land to improved the ecological service ability, while the land use change flows such as forest transfer to unused land, farmland to water and built-up land reduce the ecological service capacity.Regional ecosystem services in response to land use change depends on the dual role of land use transfer flow and response sensitivity.During the research period, the land use change flow that promote the regional ecosystem services is farmland to forest land, the second land use flow was built-up land,of which the value are 3.52 and 2.07 million Yuan respectively.Ecosystem services value loss caused mainly by farmland to built-up land flow, the next are forest to unused land flow and forest to farmland flow, the value of which are-3.62,-1.19 and-1.09 million Yuan respectively. In Weinan City, the types that ecosystem services response to land use change can be divided into three types, which are collaborative increase and decrease, and trade-offs.The collaborative increase flows include farmland to forest land flow, grass to forest flow,built-up to farmland flow, water to farmland flow and water to grassland flow. The collaborative increase flows include forest to farmland flow, forest to grassland flow, and forest to unused flow, farmland to water flow and farmland to built-up land flow. The trades-offs one include grassland to farmland flow and farmland to grassland flow.Grassland to farmland can increase fixing carbon and releasing oxygen and water conservation, but lead to soil erosion,of which the ecological effect of overall negative.Farmland to grassland flow can lead to fixing carbon and releasing oxygen and water conservation capacity decreased, but good for soil and water conservation, and the overall effect to ecosystem service value increase.
