The spirit of"Two Bombs,One Satellite",which is characterized by love for the motherland,selfless dedication,self-reli-ance,arduous struggle,vigorous coordination,and courage to scale new heights,embodies the patriotic spirit,national spirit and innova-tive spirit of the strivers,and also contains the requirements of the times of building a greater scientific and technological strength.It has good value implications for students in colleges and universities to inherit the spirit of"Two Bombs,One Satellite",which is conducive to strengthening patriotic education,enhancing national self-confidence and cultivating national perseverance.Based on the comprehensive a-nalysis of the spiritual connotation and value implications of"Two Bombs,One Satellite",it is suggested that the higher education institu-tions can integrate the spirit of"Two Bombs,One Satellite"into the ideological and political education of students in colleges and universi-ties from three aspects:curriculum,culture and practical activities.The cross-combination of these three implementation paths helps fully realize the goal of educating people in ideological and political education in colleges and universities.
