The Preliminary Exploration on the Poetics of the Fenggu of Heroines in the Late Qing and Early Republic of China
With the decline of feudal rule and the forced opening of the country's gates in the late Qing and early Republic of China,the Western modernization ideologies flooded into Chinese society,causing huge changes in people's lives and a disruptive transformation of society.The Western ideological and cultural thoughts nurtured a group of female literati with modern consciousness,whose writing style showed a noticeable shift towards"androgyny".They were dedicated to exploring new ways of writing about heroines discourse and focused their attention on the contexts of national politics and liberation,advocating social revolution and the awakening of female self-subjective consciousness,presenting the vigorous Fenggu of heroines.However,as the precursor of modern women's liberation in China,their writ-ings were subject to multiple constraints under the influence of traditional concepts in the specific historical background,and they still had not completely escaped the long-standing"the second sex"living situation and psychological patterns of women,and the initial exploration of the Fenggu of heroines still have certain limitations.
