A Review of China's Research on Lenin's View on Intellectuals and Its Contemporary Enlightenment
Lenin's view of intellectuals mainly includes the class attribute and political affiliation of intellectuals,the transformation,education,and training of intellectuals,the roles of intellectuals,and the improvement of their treatment.China's research on this view is mainly focused on the following four aspects:the attitude towards intellectuals and its reasons,a historical comparative perspective,a holistic vision,and policy practice.From Lenin's works and previous academic research on his view of intellectuals,the contemporary enlightenment can be drawn as follows:(1)it is important to accurately identify the political attributes of various types of intellectuals;(2)we should use the Party's innovative theory to educate and train intellectuals;(3)we must unite the intellectuals to serve the construction of modernization;(4)it is necessary to create a good environment that respects knowledge and talents.
