Influenced by the trend of the times,Huxiang Culture,and the early communist thought in China,young Mao Zedong underwent a transformation from a democrat to a Marxist.And his ideological transformation holds significant enlightenment for contemporary youth:(1)Establishing ideals and beliefs,and cultivating correct values;(2)Integrating theory with practice,and honing one's will in social practice;(3)Studying diligently and developing qualities and abilities that meet the demands of the times.
