With the rapid development of self-media,the associated legal relationships have become increasingly complex, and a multitude of disputes have sprung up like mushrooms, among which the ownership of self-media accounts is particularly prominent. With case analysis, the common considerations in the judicial field are summarized:the relationships among the parties involved, the actual operation of the accounts, and the real-name authentication information of the accounts. The current dilemma in the determination of ownership of self-media accounts lies primarily in the lack of relevant laws and regulations and the ambiguity of the creative entity behind the accounts.Through literature analysis and case studies,a self-media account ownership determination principle of"whoever registers owns"has been proposed, and the advantages of this principle have been discussed, with the aim of contributing to judicial activities and regulating the behavior of civil subjects.
