The Status and Role of Social Organizations in the Protection System for Minors—From the Perspective of the Newly Revised Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Minors
The newly revised Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Minors has increased the responsibilities of social organizations and grassroots mass autonomous organizations in protecting minors at multiple levels.Based on the social functions of these two organizations in the field of minor protection,they are collectively referred to as social organizations.The law clarifies the main content of social organizations'work in minor protection,covering five aspects:family protection,social protection,online protection,government protection,and judicial protection.As a key entity within the multi-administrative management of the minor protection coordination system,social organizations bear the task and responsibility of refining the minor protection work system,establishing bridges for minor protection,providing personalized services to minors,and safeguarding the rights and interests of minors.
