Reflection on Cultivating the Spirit of Struggle Among College and University Students in the New Era
The spirit of struggle is the most significant spiritual symbol running through the spiritual pedigree of the CPC.The new era has endowed the spirit of struggle with richer contemporary connotations and educational values,with ideal firmness as its soul guide,selfless struggle as its spiritual state,unity as its prominent symbol,and courage to take responsibility as its distinctive quality.Integrating the spirit of struggle into ideological and political education,the two show a high degree of compatibility in terms of theoretical foundation,educational value,and practical needs.Based on this,the following pathways are proposed to enhance the cultivation of the spirit of struggle among college and university students in ideological and political education courses:(1)Strengthen the overall planning to integrate the spirit of struggle into the ideological and political courses;(2)Construct a multi-level content framework for nurturing the spirit of struggle;(3)Focus on the developmental needs of college and university students and innovate teaching methods.
