Multivariate analysis and environmental interpretation of desert bank forest plant communities in Tarim basin,Xinjiang
In this paper,33 plant community samples collected from Tarimbasin,Xinjiang were multivariately analyzed by the detrained correspondence analys is (DCA)and the two-way indicator species analysis(TWINSPAN).The quantitati ve environmental interpretation of various plant community types is given by the multivariate regression analysis which connects the ordination scores with envi ronmental parameters. The primary plant community types, ecology gradients and the ir quantitative relations with the environmental factors were studied. It is shown by the analysis that the community types and their distribution are mainly determined by the moisture and saline gradients of soil. They are quantitatively determined by the mathematical formulas which contains environmental parameters
