Xianxia novels on the girls'channel have great influence among Internet stories,as well as a characteristic representative for cultural communication to overseas people.However,faced with op-portunities in the new era,Xianxia novels on the girls'channel have the following urgent problems to be thought about and solved:how to meet times'challenges,how to find ways into the mainstream and qual-ity development and competently take on times'missions and tasks.Xianxia novels on the girls'channel have an obvious advantage in their distinct narrative characteristics but they are monotonous in their female-centered perspective,characterization and plot patterns.In this paper we discuss the three as-pects:how to enrich the narrative modes of Xianxia novels by means of edutaining,how to enrich the char-acter types through imagination,and how to enrich the plot patterns with excellent traditional Chinese cul-ture,in the hope of promoting a healthy development of Xianxia novels on the girls'channel.
