Mobility and Connection:Media Use and Urban Integration of Floating Population in Liangshan
Since the reform and opening up,the floating population has become a large special group in cities,and they are also an important force in urban construction.Among the many factors affecting the urban integration of the floating population,the role of the media cannot be ignored.Through in-depth in-terview research methods,this study analyzes the possible correlation between the use of media by the floating population of Yi nationality in Liangshan and their urban integration.The study finds that media has become a connection tool for the floating population in terms of emotion,space,time and interper-sonal relationship.Although the floating population shows a state of flow and change in body and idea,they are still in a connected state in emotion and interpersonal relationship.
