摘要
本文的基本观点是:ChatGPT一类人工智能语言模型会对语言研究和语言教学带来挑战,但它本身不可能产生新的修辞方式,也不会影响人类不断产出新的修辞范式.对此,文章从ChatGPT自身所具有的致命的弱点,从修辞本身所具有的特性做了说明.文章具体分析了四个修辞方面的实例,以此证明本文所做的论断.
Abstract
The basic viewpoint of this paper is that the artificial intelligence language models such as ChatGPT may present challenges to language research and teaching,but they cannot generate new rhetorical devices themselves,nor will they affect people's continuous production of new rhetorical paradigms.The paper explains the fatal weaknesses of ChatGPT and the characteristics of rhetoric.It also analyzes four examples of rhetoric in order to confirm the thesis.
