The study of second language acquisition theory has profound influence,but its application in English teaching practice in China is limited.The analytical reading teaching model is based on the exploration of second language acquisition in practical teaching,from the selection of reading materials to the specific method and content of analysis.In particular,as a teaching model,the study has practical significance in college English teaching in China.Based on the classroom,extended to extracurricular activities,it highlights that teachers dominate in the classroom and students take their initiative outside the classroom.
