English Writing stands as a pivotal linguistic skill course within the English discipline,which dedicates to training and ele-vating students'English writing proficiency and emphasizes on effective linguistic output and practical application.In response to the preva-lent issues of"theory-application disconnect"and"inefficiency",inadequate fusion of instructional design with curriculum content,and the absence of a systematic evaluation approach,the teaching team has innovated the curriculum.Grounded in the OBE(Outcome-Based Education)pedagogical framework,the 4A teaching methodology(Awareness→Activation→Application→Assessment)steers the holistic teaching process,culminating in a four-step closed-loop instructional approach encompassing autonomous task preparation,experiential task execution,advanced task application,and reflective task evaluation,which includes integrating reading and writing instruction,infu-sing ideological and political content to cultivate moral integrity,establishing a multidimensional assessment system,and focusing on nur-turing students'critical thinking and innovative capabilities.
