This paper studies current situation of professional development of English teachers in local colleges in Guangxi under inte-grated development.It is found that they are willing to teach,but face difficulties in professional development,with a little professional happiness.They face main problems such as a weak sense of active development,a lack of leaders in teaching and researching teams,a weak development atmosphere,an imperfect incentive mechanism and evaluation system.Based on analyzing the internal and external fac-tors,this paper proposes a path to promote their professional development from three levels:policy support,platform construction and en-hancement of professional development awareness.
