Researchon the Cultivation of College Students'Ability to Tell Xizang Chapter of Chinese stories in English in the New Era
Telling Chinese stories well in the new era has become an effective avenue to carry out ideological and political education in colleges and universities.By telling the Xizang chapter of Chinese stories in English,college students in Xizang can deepen their sense of identity and belonging to the country.It helps students establish correct political values.However,at present,universities in Xizang confront with a fact that college English teaching focuses too much on the introduction and dissemination of Western culture and ignores the role of Chinese culture in college English teaching.Starting from the necessity of college students in Xizang to tell the Xizang chapter of Chinese stories in English,this paper analyzes the content of the Xizang chapter of Chinese stories.It aims to provide reference for the re-form of English teaching in universities,especially the reform of English teaching in universities in Xizang.
