摘要
新时代背景下,大学英语教学除了需要加强学生的英语语言知识和能力素养的培养,还要向专业化和跨文化能力方向发展.因此,采用ESP教学理念是实施新时代中国特色外语教育改革的必然选择.文章探讨ESP理念下中国文化元素融入大学英语教学以激发师生的文化自觉意识的必要性、重要性、迫切性,对新形势下的大学英语教学有着重要的指引意义.
Abstract
In the new era,college English teaching should not only strengthen the training of students'English language knowledge and ability,but also develop toward specialization.Therefore,adopting ESP teaching concept is an inevitable choice for implementing the reform of foreign language education with Chinese characteristics in the new era.This paper discusses the necessity,importance and urgen-cy of the integration of Chinese cultural elements into college English teaching under the ESP concept in order to stimulate the cultural con-sciousness of teachers and students,which is of great significance to college English teaching in the new situation.
