On the Intersubjectivity of Prose Translation from the Perspective of Eco-Translatology—A Comparative Study of Before the Rain
Compared with the poetry and novel,prose translation from Chinese to English is an arduous task.With its pearly language and magnificent harmony of emotions and senses,the prose.Before the Rain,through He Qifang's delicate description of nature,all living things are placed on an equal footing,permeating He's forward-looking vision of natural ecology.That is harmony between man and nature.Based on eco-translatology,this paper takes the translations of Zhang Mengjing and Du Yaowen,Robert Neather and Zhang Peiji,to delve into how translators achieve the harmony and equality between multiple subjects in their translation process,so as to bring the trans-lation to a desired aesthetic realm.
