A Study on Strategies for Improving College English Teaching through Communicative Teaching Method
The importance of English teaching is self-evident.On the one hand,universities need to carry out effective reforms to im-prove teaching quality and efficiency,and on the other hand,they need to use advanced methods such as communicative teaching to help students build comprehensive English thinking and enhance their communication and application abilities in English.It's important to face the current problems in college English teaching and find a way out for the promotion and practice of communicative teaching method.This article provides an overview of communicative teaching method,explains the significance of using communicative teaching method in col-lege English teaching,analyzes the difficulties that currently affect the implementation of this teaching method,and proposes strategies to improve college English teaching by using communicative teaching method.
