语料库驱动的学术英语写作的教学研究——以摘要写作为例

学术英语写作能力是英语专业学生所应具备的重要能力之一.本研究以摘要写作为例,使用语料库驱动的教学实践.课程团队自建学术英语语料库,以福建省某高校大三英语专业学生作为实验对象,对实验组进行语料库驱动的英语摘要写作培训;而对照组进行传统摘要写作教学.结果发现:实验组学生成绩显著提高,说明语料库驱动的学术英语写作教学能有效提升学生语料库检索分析和学术英语写作能力,对后续英语学科的教学改革起到一定的参考作用.
One of the key skills that English majors should have is the ability to write in academic English.This study employs cor-pus-driven teaching methodology and takes abstract writing as an example.The course team created an academic English corpus and trained junior English majors from a university in Fujian province in abstract writing.While conventional instruction in abstract writing was given to the control group.The results demonstrated that the experimental group's students'academic performance had significantly im-proved,suggesting that corpus-driven teaching can both effectively improve students'academic writing and corpus retrieval analysis skills and serve as references for later English teaching reforms.
