国际传播能力建设视域下地方纺织高校英语专业学生翻译能力培养的探索与实践

摘要
用外语讲好中国故事,传播好中国声音是新时代中国高等外语教育的使命.在此背景下,文章以武汉纺织大学外国语学院英语专业学生翻译能力培养模式为案例,探讨了地方纺织高校英语专业如何服务时代之需,创新教育模式,结合校本特色,把翻译、纺织和国际传播有机融合,利用校内外资源为学生搭建三位一体的实践教育平台,创建实践课程群并建立榜样学子典型案例库,形成了"课程+实践+情感"的翻译教育和育人模式,提高了学生的翻译能力和国际传播能力,以培养理解当代中国、讲好中国故事的时代新人.
Abstract
In the new era,Higher education for foreign languages in China has the mission of empowering students to tell Chinese sto-ries to the rest of the world.This research takes the cultivation of translation ability for English majors in the School of Foreign Languages in Wuhan Textile University as a case study and explores what English teachers in local textile university can do to innovate teaching and serve the needs of the times.By integrating the teaching of translation,textile and international communication in daily courses,offering students with platforms for real and authentic translation and international communication practice combined with practice courses,and in-spiring them with role models,students have made huge progress in both translation competence and international communication capacity and are therefor better quipped to understand contemporary China and tell Chinese stories to the world.
