Influence of Anxiety on Oral English Learning in the Mixed Teaching Mode
Based on the new educational concept,with the support of the Internet and information technology,the college English mixed teaching mode has become a very popular teaching mode.However,there are few studies on student anxiety in mixed teaching modes.Based on Krashen's affective filtering hypothesis,this study investigates the influence of anxiety on oral English learning in the mixed teaching mode.Qualitative data were obtained from interviews with five English major students.Studies have found that anxiety has an effect on oral English ability.More importantly,the traditional teaching mode has a greater influence on oral English ability than the mixed teaching mode.
