With the development of globalization,informatization,and cultural diversification,as well as the acceleration of the mod-ernization process of agriculture and rural areas in China,cross-cultural communication ability has become an important criterion for eval-uating internationally competent agricultural talents.Teaching driven by language service projects is a novel educational mode.Through teaching practice and investigative analysis of cross-cultural communication courses at Hunan Agricultural University,actual agriculture-related language service projects have been introduced into curriculum reform,aiming to enhance postgraduate students'cross-cultural communication skills in agriculture and their practical language proficiency,foster composite agricultural talents with an international per-spective,and provide new teaching ideas and methods for MTI cross-cultural communication teaching related to agriculture.
