International business contract is an important legal document for foreign-related economic activities, and its translation quality directly affects the effectiveness of the contract and the interests of both parties.According to Nida's Skopos Theory, translation should not only convey the semantic information of the original text, but also satisfy the communicative needs of the target language read-ers.Therefore,this paper takes Skopos Theory as the theoretical basis to explore the translation strategy of international business contracts from English to Chinese, which can be specifically adopted as the literal, free and amplification translation. This study not only enriches the application scope of Function Equivalence, but also provides valuable experience and strategies for the translation practice of interna-tional business contracts.
