Research on the Development of China's Translation Industry Based on the Theory of Translation Economics
In recent years,with the acceleration of globalization and the vigorous development of the Belt and Road Initiative,China's economic and cultural exchanges with other countries are deepening.Translation is becoming increasingly important in our economic and social life,while translation industry is ushering in unprecedented challenges and opportunities.This study attempts to examine the current situation of China's translation industry from the perspective of translation economics,explore the existing problems and bottlenecks,and put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.This study finds that China's translation industry has been transformed into a new service industry with bright prospects and huge market potentials.However,in order to realize healthy and sustainable development,there should be more support from the government,and more efforts be made in training translation talents,promoting industry-university-research collaboration,and enhancing technical ability of translation.
