This study advocates for the integration of general and specialized education,analyzing the current challenges in English teaching.It proposes the inclusion of"translation of musical literature"in English teaching to address these issues,leveraging the com-bined forces of moral,intellectual,and aesthetic education to nurture musical talents artists with both virtue and artistic excellence.Fur-thermore,this paper elaborates on the practical research across three dimensions:selection of translation materials,application of teaching methods and translation theories,and execution of teaching activities.The research indicates that integrating translation of musical litera-ture into English teaching not only enriches students'knowledge of music and English but also enhances their English language proficiency and cross-cultural communication skills.Furthermore,it improves information comprehension,cultural awareness,moral virtues,and skills,while inspiring aesthetic and intellectual development.This study achieves a synergistic education model combining ideological and political education with music and English.
