摘要
随着中外合作的持续推进,翻译作为跨文化交际的重要手段之一,日益受到学界的广泛重视.文章将以接受美学理论为切入点,对英语谚语的艺术特色进行归纳探究,分析读者与译者在接受美学理论中的不同地位,从语言特色、文化特色、审美特色等方面展开探讨.提出英语谚语翻译可以利用直译法、意译法、增译法等不同方法,完成谚语的解读、翻译,最大化呈现英语谚语的艺术特色与言语形式,符合受众的阅读期待.文章旨在总结各类翻译技巧,进而为英语谚语翻译提供参考.
Abstract
With the continuous development of Sino-foreign cooperation,translation,as one of the important means of cross-cultural communication,is drawn wide attention from the academic circles.Taking the theory of reception aesthetics as the entry point,this paper will summarize and explore the artistic characteristics of English proverbs,analyze the different positions of readers and translators in the theory of reception aesthetics,and explore the aspects of language characteristics,cultural characteristics and aesthetic characteristics.It is proposed that the translation of English proverbs can be completed by literal translation,free translation and additional translation,so as to maximize the artistic characteristics and speech forms of English proverbs and meet the audience's reading expectations.The purpose of this paper is to summarize various translation techniques and provide references for the translation of English proverbs.
