The Central Plains,with its unique geographical environment,historical status,and humanistic spirit,has enabled its culture to remain mainstream throughout the long history of China.However,there are still some obstacles and bottlenecks on the path to-ward Central Plains culture going abroad.Henan universities,based on the profound historical and cultural advantages,shoulder the mis-sion of helping to shape a good image of"Henan in the world"and constructing the international discourse system of Henan Province.Therefore,in the new era,it is particularly crucial to accelerate the reform of English translation teaching in Henan universities and im-prove the mechanism for cultivating high-quality translation talents.
