摘要
英语时事新闻阅读是高校英语教学的重要内容.文章从高校英语课程目标与学生核心素养培养要求出发,基于学生学习与教师教学特点,从阅读内容选择、教学理论与方法应用等方面探讨以素养为指向的英语时事新闻阅读教学策略,并以Paris Olympics主题为例,阐述了以素养为指向的英语时事新闻阅读的教学策略.
Abstract
Reading current events and news in English is an important part of English teaching in universities.This article starts from the objectives of college English courses and the requirements for cultivating students'core competencies.Based on the characteristics of students'learning and teachers'teaching,it explores the teaching path and strategies of literacy-oriented English current affairs news read-ing from the aspects of reading content selection,teaching theory and method application.Taking the Paris Olympics theme as an example,it elaborates on the teaching strategy of literacy-oriented English current affairs news reading.
