Analysis on the Current Development Status of Business English Major in Application-oriented Undergraduate Colleges in Guizhou Area
Based on the investigation of schools,teachers,students,markets and enterprises,this paper analyzes the needs of mar-kets and enterprises,the employment wilingness of students,as well as the problems existing in the professional positioning and practical teaching system of business English majors in local colleges and universities under the background of the rapid development of international trade,especially cross-border e-commerce.It is hoped that the business English major in application-oriented undergraduate colleges can reflect on the problems identified in research and analysis,and propose feasible solutions.The aim of this paper is to construct a scientifi-cally sound talent training model and practice teaching system,achieve interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary integration,and truly high-light the compound nature and practicality of the business English major.
