摘要
英语是国际上通用语言,是世界上运用最广泛的语言之一.当今英语主要分为英式英语和美式英语,随着美国综合实力的不断增强,美式英语在自学考试英语(二)教材中出现的频率越来越高,为了能让自考生更好地掌握英语,顺利通过英语(二)国家考试,文章试图找出英式英语与美式英语的差异,了解英式英语和美式英语的区别有助于自考生进一步提高英语应试能力,培养批判性思维,增强跨文化交际能力.
Abstract
English,the international common language,is one of the most widely used languages in the world.Today's English is mainly divided into British English and American English.With the continuous improvement of the comprehensive strength of America,the frequency of American English in self-taught textbook is becoming gradually higher.In order to make self-taught students pass the exams smoothly,this paper tries to find out the differences between British English and American English.Understanding the differences between British English and American English helps self-taught students to further improve their test ability.It also cultivates their critical thinking and enhances their cross-cultural communication ability.
