Research and Practice of"SPOC Flipped Classroom"Teaching Model Based on OBE Concept—Taking"Selected Reading of English Publications"Course as an Example
Guided by the OBE(Outcome-Based Education)concept,the course"Selected Reading of English Publications"has been revitalized with innovations in content reconfiguration,pedagogical creativity,integration of contemporary technologies,educational environment design,and an overhaul of the assessment framework.The curriculum has embraced the SPOC(Small Private Online Course)flipped classroom instructional model,shifting from conventional in-class lectures to online pre-class study assignments,and shifting classroom focus towards student presentations and debates.Advanced tools like AI,learning platform and smart classrooms are leveraged to foster self-directed learning and collaborative efforts among students.The assessment strategy has been diversified to include self-assess-ment and peer review,providing a holistic evaluation of student performance.These enhancements have not only elevated student engage-ment and self-assurance but also honed their cooperative and cross-cultural communication competencies,laying a solid foundation for students'future academic and professional development.
