On the Independent College's College English Teaching Model based on the Integrated Model for Chinese Students'Intercultural Competence Development
The Independent college students hope to enhance their intercultural competence through college English courses.Based on the theoretical framework of the"4-3-2-1"integrated model for Chinese students'intercultural competence development,the independent college English teaching model starts from observing,to perceiving,to communicating,and to promoting.The whole process runs through the college English curriculum and its extended courses.Three rounds of teaching practice have proven that,the integration of college English curriculum and its extended courses can improve the intercultural competence of independent college students.
