Traditional English courses often focused on imparting language knowledge and training test-taking skills,while neglecting the cultivation of students'cultural confidence and the expansion of interdisciplinary perspectives.Therefore,this article deeply explores the problems of integrating excellent Chinese culture into public English teaching based on the background of the new liberal arts.Coping strategies are proposed in order to provide support for cultivating composite talents with a global perspective and patriotic feelings.
