Graded reading has a history of several decades abroad,and its effectiveness has been fully demonstrated.After entering China,graded reading has been widely used in English teaching in primary and secondary schools and has achieved positive results.How-ever,there are fewer studies on this subject at the university level,and the existing research involves limited intervention by teachers.Therefore,this article makes some teaching attempts to explore a new method of applying graded reading to college English teaching.
